iLASIK is different than traditional LASIK.
All LASIK procedures begin with the creation of a flap on the surface of the cornea, followed by a laser treatment that takes place under that flap. The most common method of creating a corneal flap involves a hand-held device that uses a blade, but superior bladeless iLASIK technology makes it possible for Dr. Solomon to create a more precise flap by using a laser for this important first step of the procedure.
Only an iLASIK procedure can be called “all-laser” or “bladeless.”
If you have been told that you are not a candidate for LASIK, consider an implant that functions as a permanent, hassle-free contact lens.
